An aphrodisiac is a food that stimulates the body and increases sexual desire. There is research out there suggesting that coffee might be an aphrodisiac! There is new research out that shows coffee can stimulate you and act as an aphrodisiac. In a study done by researcher Fay Guarraci, Ph.D., female rats were introduced to coffee and then watched to see if their mating habits changed. In the study caffeinated female rats would return for sex faster than the noncaffeinated female rats.
So what does this mean? Well, officially they stated that because this was the rats first dose of caffeine, it most likely wouldn’t have the same effect for humans because most of us (especially if you are reading this) have coffee as part of our daily diet.
