Maple Walnut Coffee Smoothie

Maple Walnut Coffee Smoothie
Makes 1-2

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup plain, unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tbsp instant espresso or coffee (OR add 4 oz. brewed coffee)
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 packet stevia
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • 6-8 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Put the walnuts and oats in a blender and pulse until ground to a fine powder.
  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients (except for the ice) and process until smooth.
  3. Add the ice and pulse until pulverized. Serve immediately.
