The story of Ape Canyon makes for great reading while enjoying a cup of Sasquatch Coffee’s own Ape Canyon.
One of the most famous Bigfoot encounters of all times involves an area that is now known as ‘Ape Canyon’ near Mt. St. Helens in the state of Washington. As the story goes, a group of miners were terrorized throughout the night by what they described as “Ape Men”. The creatures bombarded the cabin with large rocks and boulders. One even reached through a chink in the cabin. The next day the men abandoned their claim, never to return.
The cabin site was lost for many years until a surveyor named Marc Myrsell* undertook the task of researching the story until he was able to determine the cabin site’s location.
