Homemade Vanilla Coffee Creamer

If you find yourself buying sweet coffee creamer at the grocery store, this recipe might save you a few dollars a week, and give your coffee a better flavor than store-bought sweeteners.  The ingredient list is short and the directions are easy; how much better does it get?

Ingredients

  • 2½ cups half and half
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together until well blended. Refrigerate covered until ready to use.
  2. Follow the expiration date of the half and half used for “use-by” date.

Once prepared, store refrigerated in an air-tight container. A mason jar is a perfect container for this homemade creamer and can easily be written on or tagged with contents and expiration date.
